Aren't you grateful to have another chance at today, today?

...wait until tomorrow? ...Really?

My clients often exclaim, "Tomorrow will be day one!" or "I will get back on track starting on Monday!" Unfortunately, it is not always that simple. I believe we can only change when we are willing to change and no sooner.

So, you made a mistake today. Does this warrant throwing all of your previous accomplishments or your day count to the curb? It is common, with low self-esteem, to polarize your thinking into black or white. Are there really only two choices: total success or total failure? I don’t think so! I believe we need to challenge ourselves in order to grow and other times when we need to forgive ourselves in order to move forward.

I think the Dalai Lama says it best, "When you lose, don't lose the lesson."

For me, time is completely transient, meaning each new moment carries with it a new opportunity. So, the next time you feel your only option is to abandon yourself, your plans, and your goals, pause and take a moment.

Albert Einstein once said, "No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it." Take a moment, pause and reflect, and see what other choices or routes the universe has to offer you.

Are you willing? And if not....are you willing to be willing?

Courageously,

David Avram Wolfe
