SHOULD I HAVE SURGERY?
I have worked in a weight loss and bariatric setting for three years. I have seen surgery work, and for a specific population it can be a great tool. I have also seen it fail. If you are not sure if it is the best option for you, I would be happy to give you my professional opinion. Your decision will greatly impact the rest of your life. Before deciding, it is worth the time to look deeply into your options.
MY SURGERY FAILED...
WHAT CAN I DO?
This is your chance to regain what you lost, but not the weight.
Together we will find a solution!
Getting Back on Track
Many people believe bariatric surgery is a cop out, an easy way out. I know for a fact, this is not the case. If anything, it makes your life and your weight management more difficult. I have been working with bariatric clients for three years, and I have found these individuals pose unique nutritional challenges.
These challenges require a different approach and one that can easily be accommodated by Trigger Free Nutrition.
I have worked with many clients post bariatric surgery who have slowly (and sometimes quickly) seen their weight rise within 6-18 months. Many of these individuals are suffering from emotional eating and possibly addictive tendencies towards certain food(s), most notably sugar and carbohydrates. Once this is determined, real results are possible. One just needs the willingness to take the first step.
30 DAY POST SURGERY SUPPORT
The 30 Day Post Surgery Support option is an insurance policy for your first month after surgery. Complications are one of the main reasons for failure. We will prevent them together! We will advocate and protect your new stomach from expanding, as well as handle food tolerance issues. These are the two most common complications which lead to surgical failure. We will accomplish this through a daily a check-in and using the Wolfe Propriety Checklist for Surgical Success as well as handling any other issues that arise.
SURGERY PROGNOSIS TOOL
The Bariatric Surgery Prognosis Tool will evaluate if bariatric surgery is right for you.
Did you know that most bariatric surgeries fail? Here is why: 1. Many bariatric surgery candidates happen to be undiagnosed food addicts. Stomach surgery will not treat addiction. 2. Long term bariatric support is inadequate and typically leaves room for bad habits to return. Weight is insidiously gained. I have seen this over and over again.
Through an in depth interview and an online questionnaire, I will be able to determine the likelihood of you being a good candidate for this surgery. I view success as achieving optimal weight and maintaining your weight loss indefinitely. I am certain that this prognosis tool will have a positive impact on your life.
